How to contribute

We’re searching for people who are passionate about using technology to create a shared reality that is free of disinformation.

We’re still searching for a problem and solution that creates deep and compelling value.

To prioritize and track our work, we use GitHub issues. Check out our issue board.

If an issue exists describing the work you’re interested in doing, consider commenting in issue. When you’ve completed the work, put in a pull request.

If there’s something new you’d like to add, create an issue.

You’re invited to also edit our website directly, without using an issue.

How to I edit the website?

Our website is generated from files in our GitHub repo. To update the website, you simply need to edit the files. To do so:

  1. If you don’t have a Github account, create one.
  2. Visit https://github.com/owenbrown/istrue/tree/main/docs
  3. Find the file the you’re interested in editing. The main website page is index.html
  4. Click “Propose Changes”
  5. Review your changes. Look for typos.
  6. Click “Create Pull Request”
  7. Leave a comment! Describe why you’ve made the suggested change.
